1. The Free Tyre Safety Kit Promotion is open to all consumers who are UK (excluding Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 and over, except Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd. (the “Sponsor”) employees (and their immediate families), its agencies or anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the Free Tyre Safety Kit Promotion, or trade customers. This offer is open to retail customers only and excludes fleets and company vehicle drivers.
2. The promotion will consist of a free tyre pressure gauge, a free tyre depth indicator and a free high visibility vest when you purchase 2 designated Avon car tyres and a free tyre pressure gauge, a free tyre depth indicator and 4 free high visibility vests when you purchase a set of 4 designated Avon car tyres.
3. The Free Tyre Safety Kit Promotion has a purchase requirement – entrants must purchase either a pair or a set of four of the designated Avon brand tyres in a single transaction between 31st May until 30th September 2010 in the UK (exc. NI). Designated tyres are Avon ZZ3, ZV5, ZV3, ZT5, CR322, Turbosteel 70, CR227, CR228-D, CR27, Ranger Sport, Ranger, Ranger A-T, Rangemaster, and Ranger TSE.
4. Entrants must fully complete and return the claim from along with a proof of purchase and fitting to the following address: Free Tyre Safety Kit Promotion, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd., Bath Road, Melksham, Wiltshire SN12 8AA.
5. Claims must have been received by the closing date 15th October 2010.
6. Claims must be made on an official claim form. Claims must be completed in ink, and must be accompanied by a valid original receipt highlighting the tyres purchased. It is recommended that you keep a photocopy for your reference.
7. Claim forms and receipts become the absolute property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
8. Only one entry per household. Lost, incomplete, invalid, illegible or late claims will not be accepted and proof of posting shall not constitute proof of receipt. The Sponsor reserves the right to discard any illegible or incomplete claims forms and to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions. The Sponsor’s decision is final.
9. In the event of any error affecting the promotion, whether printing, technological or otherwise, the Sponsor shall have discretion to continue the promotion as if the error had not occurred. In all matters the decision of the Sponsor shall be final and unchallengeable. No correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
10. Where we are unable to contact an eligible person within a reasonable period, or any promotion cannot be taken up or is declined or returned undelivered, the eligible person shall cease to be eligible for the promotion or any alternative and shall have no claim against the Sponsor or respective agents.
11. The promotion is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Sponsor reserves the right to alter the promotion without prior notice and to offer a substitute of equal or higher value in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend the Rules or Special Rules at any time without prior notice. You must check regularly www.avontyrespromotion.com the relevant promotion for changes to the Rules or Special Rules. By continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of the Rules or Special Rules or any part of them, you agree to be bound by such changes.
12. The Sponsor would like to contact you with information regarding products, services, events or special offers that may be of interest to you. By ticking the box you agree to be contacted in the future.
13. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and our privacy policy, which follows below. We will not disclose your personal data to a third party without your prior consent except as provided in the privacy policy, or in these Rules or in any Special Rules.
14. The promotion and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
